Glasgow Celtic Used As A Shield For Sevco Failings

Mark Warburton has been given a platform to speak again and as usual when this happens his whining but arrogant persona comes shining through. Tomorrow will see Celtic travel to Ibrox to do battle with his galaxy of stars (from English lower leagues) and judging from his comments, Mark has decided that his Sevco side will get an absolute skelping. How do we know this? Well incredibly Mark Warburton has decided to finally admit that there is a gap between the two sides, some distance in fact when you look at his comments. Warburton had more to say and his words are astonishing when you look at them in context.

Warburton has chosen to highlight the financial gap between the two clubs, admitting that Champions League money has made all the difference to the respective teams differing bank balance. Warburton also points out that the gap will eventually be closed. Some might agree with the first point but let's not pretend this statement is anything other than a raising of the white flag from a man running scared and fearing for his job. Celtic have earned the right to be where they are while their oldest rivals imploded and sank into liquidation. Expecting a newco to suddenly have the resources of Scotland's premier club side is about the same as MK Dons fans lamenting the fact they can't close the gap on Man City. Mark Warburton know's that Sevco will NEVER compete with Celtic on a financial scale, yet he can't quite bring himself to say it for fear of the hordes reaction. This chancer is talking about a financial gap to take the heat off himself for tomorrow - pure and simple.

Using Celtic and their widely respected financial model as a shield for your own failing's shouldn't cut any ice but when you are dealing with a support so blinkered as the zombies you can pretty much guarantee they will lap it up. What makes it worse is that Warburton was scathing on Alan Stubbs pretty much saying the same thing about his Rangers outfit last season. Hypocritical doesn't even begin to describe this man. Let's face it, his mask slipped long ago and he has been exposed as a whining, entitled, self obsessed, master of the bland statement. MW is quite clearly trying to use Celtic as a shield to protect his job. Fair enough, desperate men do desperate things but if you want to bring Celtic into your arguments then you should expect your words to be scrutinized by the Celtic faithful and while the hordes across the city nod in agreement like lap dogs we will rip apart this charlatan's argument and expose it for the complete lie that it is... hey don't mention it zombies, after all we did the same with Whyte and Green for you.

Mark Warburton is an average manager who, with the help of our media has become this mythical entity desperate for the top. In this narrative, Sevco spend their days fighting off potential suitors and praying that the magic hat never leaves. Only now the media know EXACTLY what he is and watching them slowly drop hints that he hasn't got it is just too delicious to describe. They would dearly love to come out and criticize this man the way they did Ronny Deila but they wouldn't dare. Doing so would show them up as the pathetic sycophants they are and expose their constructed illusion that the magic hat is anything other than a run of the mill, ten a penny gaffer. Like Warburton they are absolutely bricking it from Brendan and his swashbuckling Celtic side and not even a victory tomorrow will convince them they can turn this round.

Another aspect of the Warburton interview is the "going for 55" slogan, a statement so ludicrous that one wonders whether they meant going for 55 points as opposed to titles. Warburton has stated that he never expected Rangers to win the title and he has never uttered the phrase. Nice try Mr Hat but when you sit silently allowing those deluded fans at the club to get their hopes up you are completely complicit in whatever consequences occur. Even the argument that they have been competitive is complete and utter nonsense! Celtic are 16 points clear with a game in hand and this buffoon is claiming they have given it their best shot. How many times has the tragic hat and his team of lower league misfits dropped points this season? Had they been able to beat times like Hamilton at home, the gap would certainly be nowhere near as wide. Of course the zombies will repeat the "competitive" line and talk about next season as the season when they finally topple Celtic. Good luck with that one.

Mark Warburton has created a rod for his own back and will be sacked sooner rather than later. Unfortunately for us there is nothing we can do to keep the man in a job and although we'd dearly love to see the tragic hat sign a ten year deal it just isn't going to happen. 16 points behind means that Mark Warburton is a complete failure on every level! Second highest wage budget in the Scottish Premier league and they have not secured it. Indeed if we win tomorrow and Aberdeen pick up three points, their position as also rans looks incredibly shaky. Roll on tomorrow when we stick another nail in Mark's managerial coffin. Such an arrogant man deserves nothing more!

Hail Hail

  1. Mediocre Warburton & his team of mediocre players sliding into obscurity as 2nd or 3rd best .No contest

  2. My dad always brought my brother, sister and I up as bhoys and ghirl. But as we were living in south London he couldn't take us up to Paradise alot,so we started to follow Wimbledon fc as a second team. So what happened in 2002 and that franchised, plastic scum of mk was exactly the same way as the sfa acted in 2012. And unfortunately and with a heavy heart there is no way of stopping these people unless we all stand up together and demand positive action against corruption
