SMSM Top Team - A Celtic Parody

The Rangers are coming.... Celtic had better get used to it! Future Rangers and Brazil captain Barry McKay has fired a warning to his side's title rivals and roared "The stadium's no fawin doon" Such was the ferocity in the wonderkid's voice, it could have been mistaken for the magnificent Walter Smith himself. Barry's words come on the back of two convincing wins against the cream of the Premiership crop and the future looks bright and orange for the Govan side.. Rivals Celtic are currently languishing in first place and are a mere 8 points clear but that hasn't stopped their fans dreaming of a sixth tainted title. Can Celtic recover to win the league? Here's our top team with their views.

Kent Waite (Rangers)

It will be difficult for Celtic to claim the championship this season or indeed any future seasons due to their vastly inferior financial model. Funds are tight and splashing the cash seems as likely as Ian Cathro being a manager. It's no secret that Brendan Rodgers is desperate to get back to the English Premiership and with Celtic fans rapidly losing patience with the unbeaten boss it could be sooner rather than later. Rangers will win the title at the same canter the Manchester horse did.

Mason Jarr (Rangers)

Let's not beat about the bush here, Celtic are a poor side as consecutive draws with Man City proved. Brendan Rodgers side managed to outplay City on their own patch and STILL couldn't grab a victory. Celtic's manager has struggled to bring in genuine quality this season with guys like Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair bringing back memories of misfits like Wayne Biggins. Mark Warburton on the other hand has wisely went for youth in Joey Barton, Niko Krancjar and Clint Hill. Joey didn't work out but the ex city trader's wide array of formations and unique brand of sexy football will ensure Rangers 1872 lift the title come the end of the season. W.A.T.P

Robin Banks (Rangers)

The very fact this is even up for debate shows the hatred for Rangers at the very heart of this country. Isn't it about time we stopped pussyfooting around and just admit that this Celtic side is a shadow of the one Ronnie Deila built last season. Mark Warburton has the measure of his Celtic counterpart as two successive defeats prove. Mark is as wily as Walter Smith and as follically challenged as Kris Boyd. These traits will be enough to push Gers over the finishing line. Unfortunately Kenny Miller wants Mark for the England job so Rangers will have a problem when the call from the English F.A comes and it would be a tragedy for Scottish Football to lose such a fantastic manager and hat. For now they have the edge so Rangers all the way for me.

Hail Hail!
